ITINERARY

Day 1 – Pondicherry
​
Heritage walk around the French quarter, culminating in Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Spend the afternoon at Auroville – Get an introduction to Auroville at the Resource centre and proceed to The Matri Mandir, Musical garden, and enjoy a bite at Auroville bakery. Spend the evening on the beach.

Day 2 – Pondicherry
​
Early morning hike around Ousteri lake. Then drive to a fishing village to watch the auction of the day’s catch. Visit Arikamedu, an archaeological site which speaks of trade with Romans in the 2 century BC. Watch a display of pottery art, and you can pick some for your home too. Round off your Pondicherry visit with a walk around its local markets.
